  • We are a global leader with a mix of nationalities among our leaders and employees. In Allianz Group our Executives have 61 different nationalities and 57% of our leadership is not from Germany. We have employees of 67 different nationalities at our global headquarters in Munich.
  • We have employees of all age groups; the average age is 40.6.
  • Women make up 51% of our workforce and 38% of our managers globally. We are committed to building up a talent pool of women systematically at all executive levels.
  • We promote an open minded work environment through our employee LGBT network Allianz Pride.
  • Allianz aims to be an attractive employer for people with disabilities; our AllAbility team works hard to ensure we provide a workplace that caters for all.

Diversity learning

Diversity Day

At Allianz Life US employees choose a day that they find relevant, which is then paid for, allowing them to celebrate diversity in their own special way.

Diversity Day at Allianz Italy was launched this year and almost 400 employees have participated in one day events at different locations, giving presentations on business rationale, diversity concepts and tools and addressing employees’ diverse inclusion needs.

Diversity programs such as eLearning and diversity awareness workshops are integrated in ongoing learning and development programs.

Internal Learning Tools

The Global Diversity office at Allianz SE provides an open portal for information that enables employees to learn how to benefit from diversity within Allianz. Various diversity managers at different organizational entities also help design tailor made programs for their local companies, which enable employees to learn more about diversity and use it as a tool for their professional development.
