Amer Ahmed, currently Chief Risk Officer in AGCS will take over the newly created CRO position in Allianz Re, and will be responsible for overall risk management including the Risk Controlling, Actuarial, Natural Catastrophe Team, Retrocession and Securitization activities.
Martin Friedrich, will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer and will continue to hold responsibility for Controlling, Reinsurance Accounting and IT.
Jay Ralph, Amer Ahmed and Martin Friedrich along with the Chief Underwriting Officers, who will be announced shortly, will form the Allianz Re Executive Committee.
Clem Booth, a Member of the Allianz SE Board responsible for Anglo Insurance Broker Markets and Global Lines including reinsurance, states "Allianz Re has played and will continue to play a key role within the Allianz Group.
