If you had to explain your job to a child, how would you describe what you do?
Elisabetta Petrucci: If I should explain my job to a child, I would say what I do is to imagine the future of the company. For example: Your parents understand your aptitude and plan your future to help you become an adult. For instance, they choose the best school for you, they push you to attend an English course, to practise sports or to choose a hobby. I do the same. Together with my colleagues I work on the initiative we have to realize for the growth of our company which is healthy and is a good place to work.
What do you like most about your job?
What I like most about my job is to address different issues and to work with a lot of colleagues of great experience. I never stop learning and broadening my horizon. I also like teaching young colleagues give them a methodand help them to develop their talent. I think it’s important to give what we have received back to young generations.
What is the one thing you would advise women to do if they aspire to be top managers?
I would suggest to do one’s best. To be resolute but at the same time to listen where there is more experience. Never fear to ask for help. I think it’s important to maintain our values, not renounce being ourselves, but contribute to the success of the management team. And, finally, find the balance among your private and professional live.
