"The Munich Airport is an excellent location for us, especially when it comes to drawing the attention of business travelers," says Andreas Grass, the Allianz marketing expert responsible for the project. "The travel habits of this group are such that individuals have little time but an avid interest in current information. To meet this need, we re-worked the offerings so that the Mini Allianz Arena now offers a comprehensive 'Allianz News to Go' concept."
Mini Allianz Arena offers a new concept
Passengers can relax in the lounge and get the latest information on business, sports, travel and lifestyle, as well as on Allianz projects and other activities thanks to "INsights". The Mini Allianz Arena has been given a three-year extension at the airport.
The new Mini Allianz Arena lounge provides business travelers with access to interactive media solutions
Interactive media for business travelers
"Allianz News to Go" provides hourly updated news that can be called up via interactive media at service terminals. Business travelers can print these articles as a "newspaper to go", and a next step will allow these articles to be downloaded to mobile phones or handhelds.
Travelers with a little more transit time can wait in a comfortable lounge atmosphere with a wide range of other informative materials. Touchscreens, for example, provide presentations about Allianz projects worldwide as well as other features.
Mini Allianz Arena abroad
Over the course of the year, Mini Allianz Arenas will be opened at additional locations such as the Rome, Hong Kong, and London Heathrow airports. The "news-to-go" concept will also provide an additional service for guests in Lufthansa, British Airways, and American Airlines lounges.
