The Allianz World Run 2018 has begun and you’re invited to be a part of the fun run to good health.Over the past two years of the Allianz World Run, more than 22,000 Allianz employees from 55 countries ran 2.75 million kilometers, each year smashing the record for the “longest cumulative distance run by one team in 90 days”. This time around, the event has been opened to everyone as Allianz aims to inspire more people to get moving.

Allianz invites runners worldwide to join one of the largest global running events ever – and be part of smashing yet another world record. Seeking to inspire people to undertake recreational physical activity, Allianz has opened its annual employee event “Allianz World Run” to all walkers and runners outside of the company. It is taking place until October 24.

As the Formula E Racing season draws to a close, Allianz, global Insurer also known for its asset management companies PIMCO and AllianzGI, chose the occasion of the double header race finale in NYC as a celebration of its Global Explorer Program. Building on the company´s long term partnerships with The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the global ABB FIA Formula E Championship, Allianz creates an immersive virtual reality experience for museum visitors and race fans alike. Topping off the race season, the company invites New Yorkers to join the Explorer micro-conference – NYC edition at MoMA PS1 to discuss collaboration and co-creation between disciplines as science fact and science fiction begin to merge.
