Allianz Life Indonesia awarded for its Sharia business

Allianz ranked first in the category of insurers with assets of up to 10 billion IDR (approx. 730.000 Euros). The result was based on an analysis of eight criteria. Besides winning the overall award, Allianz also ranked highest in terms of growth in the past year and investment return.

"The number of sharia policies has been growing by approximately 25 percent on average over the last two last years, while premiums have even grown by 300 percent," said Kiswati Soeryoko, Director of Allianz Life Indonesia Sharia Division. "We will further increase our sharia sales by optimizing up-and-cross selling opportunities in our One Stop Solution (OSS) concept this year," added Kiswati. The OSS concept will enable all agency forces of Allianz Indonesia (Allianz Utama (non-life) and Allianz Life Indonesia) to offer a full range of Allianz insurance solutions of non-life, life, health, pension fund and sharia to their customers.

Today, Allianz life sharia products are sold in all of 80 Allianz Life Indonesia' sales offices in 44 cities throughout Indonesia with more than 3,400 insurance agents accredited to sell. In addition, Allianz Life also offers Sharia products through bancassurance partnerships, amongst other with Bank Danamon and Bank Permata.
