The Morningstar® Fund Awards and Talents de la Gestion 2011® ceremony took place on Wednesday 16 March as part of the Institutional Fund Management Forum in Paris. Allianz Global Investors' skills and know-how were honored at this event.
Award for Allianz Global Investors in France
- Allianz Global Investors in France was designated by institutional clients as their "favorite asset manager" at the "Talents de la Gestion 2011" awards.
Each year, this honor is awarded to fund management companies elected by investors. Based on a system whereby all professional or non-professional investors and fund of fund managers cast votes for each of the major investment strategies, the fund management company obtaining the highest number of votes is honored with the Talents de la Gestion award presented by Boursorama and Morningstar.
- Allianz Euro High Yield was elected best fund1 in the Morningstar® Euro High Yield Fixed-income category.
- Allianz RCM Euroland Equity Growth AT – Eur - was elected best fund1 in the Morningstar® Euro Zone large cap Equities category.
- Pimco GIS Global Bond Inv Eur Hdg was elected best fund1 in the Morningstar®
Euro Global Fixed-income category. The aim of the Morningstar® Fund Awards is to reward funds and companies based on 12-month risk-adjusted performances1. However, the funds must also have returned solid performances over 3 and 5 years.
We take this opportunity to remind you that Allianz Euro High Yield obtained two Lipper Fund Awards on 10 March for its performances over 3 and 5 years1 in the Euro High Yield Fixed-income category and that Allianz RCM Euroland Equity Growth was also awarded for its performance over 3 years1 in the Euro Zone Equity category.
