Team Allianz

Athletes are at the heart of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements. Their dedication and preparation inspires us to get ready for all life has to offer.

And as a Worldwide Olympic & Paralympic Partner, we’re committed to helping athletes get the most out of life, both during and after their sporting career. We call it Team Allianz. A place where athletes feel empowered to shape a better future.

Learn more about our Athlete Community and Athlete Program below.

We support more than 120 Olympians, Paralympians and hopefuls as brand ambassadors. They come from 32 nations and compete in 51 sports. Pretty cool, right? Oh – and we also work with another 50+ athletes each year as employee mentors in our Buddy Program.

But what does it mean to be an Allianz brand ambassador? Here’s a sneak peek at what our athletes get up to, both locally and globally.
Couple running and talking

At Allianz, we encourage everyone to stay fit and healthy. And what better way to stay motivated than through an athlete-led workout or mental health session?

Have you ever wondered what it means to live like an athlete? Our athletes regularly give us an exclusive look into their daily life and routines.

As a global company, we want as many of our employees and customers to learn from our athletes. From personal documentaries to interactive initiatives, they’re always up for the challenge.

Team Allianz is about more than athletic progress. It’s about incredible people. Their personal stories inspire and encourage us, each and every day.

We work with athletes who live and share our values. That's why we put athletes at the front and center of our various brand campaigns.

Athletes have valuable life lessons to share – and we help them share their stories through podcasts like A Winning Mindset with the International Paralympic Committee.
You’ve seen what athletes bring to Allianz. But how do we support them? Here’s how we encourage them to develop both as athletes and individuals, helping them to enhance their careers.
Buddy Program

The Buddy Program is an interactive mentoring program where an athlete will be teamed up with a group of Allianz employees. Over the course of the program the athlete takes over the role as a mentor by sharing his or her experience.

The group exchanges their knowledge on self-selected topics like resilience, stress management and mental well-being.
