The wind farm has a total output of 24 megawatts and comprises 12 Enercon E82 2MW wind turbines with a hub height of 78 meters. It is expected to supply 45 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of energy each year.

"We are very pleased with the successful acquisition of Quitzow and the excellent co-operation with Denker & Wulf who already operate our Buettel and Proettlin wind farms. We hope to expand this relationship further in the coming years", said David Jones, CEO of Allianz Specialised Investments.

Torsten Levsen, CEO of Denker & Wulf added: "This sale confirms the professional and dedicated work done by Denker & Wulf AG, and is the basis for future transactions with Allianz."
