Christof Mascher's current responsibilities on the Board of Management of Allianz Deutschland AG – Company Organization (CO), IT and Operations – were particularly closely integrated when new processes were defined as part of the reorganization of German insurance business and in the interests of implementing these effectively. After the reorganization has been structurally completed, these tasks are to be split up again. Alexander Vollert, currently Head of Company Organization, will be in charge of the Board of Management area of Company Organization/IT as the COO of Allianz Deutschland AG. Frank Walthes, currently Chairman of the Regional Management of the Southeast Service Area, will be responsible for Operations.

Dr. Ralf Schneider (47) will become Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Allianz Group with effect from October 1, 2010 and will report to the COO on the Board of Management of Allianz SE. The Supervisory Board of Allianz Managed Operations and Services SE (AMOS) also appointed him to the Management Board of AMOS at the same time, where as CIO he will assume responsibility for IT business. Ralf Schneider will continue to perform his duties as CIO of Allianz Deutschland AG until the end of the year.
AMOS is a shared service organization in which Allianz groups together its IT and non-IT services throughout the Group.
