Allianz presents the new FC Bayern München team on August 9

As a long-standing partner of FC Bayern München and the naming rights partner of the Allianz Arena, Allianz invites all fans and families to the first football highlight of the new season. On August 9 the team will present itself to the fans for the first time in its entirety, including Word Cup participants and newly signed footballers Robert Lewandowski and Sebastian Rode. The two trophies won during the last "Double" season will also be showcased.

 

"We are delighted to be able to offer our fans another event for the entire family together with our long-standing partner Allianz", says Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Chairman of the Board of Management of FC Bayern München. "The event on August 9 will be really special: for the first time after the World Championships and our US tour the entire line-up for the 2014/2015 season will meet the fans in the Allianz Arena."

 

From Friday, June 27, tickets will be on sale for €5 (plus pre-booking charge and postage) via the FCB online ticket shop https://tickets.fcbayern.de, as well as at the Service Center ticket booths (Säbener Str. 55, 81547 Munich) at a later stage. Proceeds from ticket sale will go to an Allianz foundation for children. Every year Allianz, as well as its employees and agents, support more than 200 regional projects for children and young people in need in Germany.

 

The "family fest" on the esplanade of the Allianz Arena will start from 2 p.m. on August 9. Then, the official team presentation in the Arena will take place at 4 p.m., the presenter will be stadium spokesperson Stephan Lehman. The players will be introduced to the public and welcomed individually. Trainer Pep Guardiola will then lead a show training of the professional team.

 

New highlight of the event will be the all star match. Paul Breitner, brand ambassador of FC Bayern München and 1974 World Champion together with the other FC Bayern AllStars team members will challenge the Manchester United Legends to a match. Former professional footballers, e.g. Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke, Owen Hargreaves, Paulo Sérgio and Mark van Bommel are taking a break from their retirement for this unique competition.

Since the 2013/2014 football season Allianz has been a platinum partner of FC Bayern München. This means a continuation of the partnership that was launched back in 2000. Cooperation on the digital front and the international scope of the partnership have been expanded. Allianz and FC Bayern München have been leveraging their global reach together – especially in the growth markets of Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and South America – to strengthen brand recognition for both partners. Manuel Neuer was deployed for a product and image campaign in Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

 

In Germany, the partnership between FC Bayern München and Allianz makes itself felt even more strongly, for example through innovative products for fans such as an insurance policy for Allianz Arena visits or increased cooperation in the areas of youth coaching and women's soccer.

 

The cooperation with FC Bayern München is a key element of Allianz's sport sponsorship strategy, as well as a clear commitment to its home town of Munich.

 

In 2014 the Allianz Junior Football Camp will take place for the 6th time

 

This summer the Allianz Junior Football Camp will take place in Munich for the 6th time (from August 20 to 25). This year Allianz will invite 80 young people from 31 countries to a one-week football experience. The FC Bayern München youth trainers will coach the teenagers at the club's training grounds in Säbener Straße, Munich. The young people will play football together, live together and explore Munich together. Highlights of the week will include a tour of the Allianz Arena, as well as watching the first Bundesliga match of the season. During the past six years approx. 500 teenagers from across the world having taken part in the Allianz Junior Football Camp.
