The Hartford starts cooperation with Allianz All Net

Allianz All Net, the international employee benefits network of Allianz joins forces with the American insurer The Hartford, thus further expanding its worldwide capabilities and distribution network. "With The Hartford as a partner, we can further optimize our services for international corporate clients with locations in the United States", says Michael Hessling, member of the board of management at Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG (Allianz Leben) responsible for corporate customers. With this cooperation, Allianz responds to the steadily rising demand for worldwide death, disability, accident and longevity coverage."

Cooperation between Allianz All Net and The Hartford: expanding the worldwide network

Since as early as 1810, The Hartford has been one of the leading financial services providers in the USA. Being the fourth largest life insurer, the new network partner in particular stands out as a provider of excellent services and products in the field of group life and group disability insurance.

"The Hartford is thus perfectly suited to complement our already existing worldwide network of 100 insurance companies through which we are offering our international employee some benefit programs", says Dirk Hellmuth, chairman of the board of Allianz All Net GmbH. As co-founder of the U.S. Paralympics,  The Hartford - in the same way as Allianz - is committed to altering the public perception of  the skills and achievements of people with disabilities.

As the world is globalizing, an ever growing number of companies are operating worldwide. For example, employees are working in Europe today, before moving on to Asia the next year and to America in another three years. Expatriates – skilled professionals who are sent on foreign assignments by their employers – have become an important group of employees.

Against the backdrop of increasing globalization, the employee benefits sector is facing new challenges as well: "Internationally oriented companies seek adequate coverage for their employees abroad, too. To satisfy the specific needs of this group of employees, All Net has developed special expatriate programs", says Michael Hessling. Dirk Hellmuth adds: "Tailor-made reinsurance and risk management solutions and the worldwide coordination of national and international insurance and pension plans complete our services."

Allianz All Net was founded in 1996 with corporate headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. All Net is a network of insurers who themselves are leading providers of employee benefit programs in their respective home countries. The majority of insurers are subsidiaries of the Allianz Group. But the network also includes other well respected insurers such as AEGON Levensverzekering NV (Netherlands) and Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company (Japan).

As International Employee Benefits Network, Allianz All Net concentrates on the global group employee benefit business. Apart from the coordination of locally optimized contracts and expatriate solutions, Allianz All Net also provides the possibility to pool locally insured and up to now separately managed national insurance contracts (international pooling) which can help reduce costs and risks of worldwide employee benefit programs and provide the parent company with a better overview of their employees' retirement provision.
