Awards are presented in a variety of categories ranging from best overall European Asset Management Firm of the Year, to specialist awards such as best Fund of Fund Manager of the Year, as well as local country awards.
Elizabeth Corley awarded at Financial News Awards
Following the rigorous voting from a panel composed of more than 70 pension fund consultants, fund management executives and marketers from across Europe, the winners were presented their awards during a black-tie event in London last night.
Elizabeth Corley, CEO of Allianz Global Investors Europe, won the prestigious "CEO of the Year" award. Elizabeth Corley has been a key figure-head for the European Asset Management Industry, speaking on its behalf before regulators and politicians at many key industry events such as the ALFI Spring Conference in Luxembourg or the Fund Forum Conference in Monaco. Elizabeth also holds important roles with CityUK and the trade body of European asset managers FEAM.
This presence and dedication to shaping the asset management industry contributed largely to her success, placing her above other nominees in her category such as Franklin Templeton and Henderson CEOs.
