Our thoughts go out to our Ukrainian and Russian colleagues

Dear Colleagues,

For many weeks now, the Board of Management of Allianz SE has been observing closely the developing events on the Ukrainian border. Today, we write to you to assure you of Allianz’s preparedness to serve as a force of competence and calm in this unfortunate situation.

Our primary concern is the safety of our people, and we are engaged with our employees in both the Ukraine and Russia to ensure their wellbeing. As a global insurer and financial services leader, we are  actively prepared for all operational and financial outcomes, including market reactions, business continuity and adaptability, and readiness to comply with emerging sanctions and regulations.

In addition, we also want to acknowledge the emotional toll of these events on our people. We recognize the feelings experienced by not only our employees in the affected regions, but also the feelings of our fellow employees from around the world who join us in watching these developments with individual human concern.

The situation and its implications are changing rapidly, and we continue to monitor them. Uncertainty can be unsettling, but stability in situations like these is Allianz’s longstanding expertise.

Thank you for your care and your support for our customers and for each other.
