Allianz Engage - Our employee network for age inclusion

Our efforts for age inclusion are strongly supported by Allianz Engage, our employee network for age inclusion with 15 local networks in place. Through Allianz Engage, our employees are invited to pro-actively contribute to a company culture where the knowledge of all generations is called upon and people can continue to thrive throughout the different stages of their lives.

Allianz Engage focuses on supporting our culture of life-long learning, supporting knowledge-transfer between generations, opening a dialogue on what it means to manage and work in age-diverse teams as well as bringing different experiences and mindsets into the organization.

Harry Craggs, Global Chair of Allianz Engage:

“At 31 I find myself at a life intersection, both professionally and personally, and with nearly a decade at Allianz, I recognize the opportunities I've had so far and the exciting journey that still lies ahead. I appreciate the learning and support I continue to receive from colleagues across all age groups and hope that I can similarly support others building from my own life experiences. Life is not the linear path we anticipate it to be; it’s filled with opportunities and challenges at every stage, making mutual support and appreciation essential as we forge our individual and collective paths.

At Allianz Engage, we prioritize bridging generational gaps to foster improved understanding and shared appreciation. We celebrate our unique experiences and journeys, both those complete and those that lie ahead, in order to share in that learning and support the development of those around us. Our focus is on delivering mechanisms and tools to make that support network a reality and easier to feature in our hectic daily working lives.”

Patricia Pelayo Romero, Co-Lead of the Global Engage Board:

“During my time at Allianz, I’ve come to value most the incredible wealth of knowledge and lived experiences that both my seniors and juniors bring to the table. As a mid-career professional, I find myself energized by the fresh perspectives and innovation of younger colleagues while drawing inspiration and guidance from those who have already walked the path I’m on. Age inclusion isn’t just about representation: it’s about creating a culture where every generation learns from and uplifts one another, ensuring that experience, wisdom, and new ideas are equally valued and celebrated.”
