Allianz MoveNow Camp – Esports Edition – June 2023

As a Worldwide Olympic & Paralympic Partner, Allianz is committed to getting young people across the globe up and moving. The physical, mental, and social skills gained through esports will prepare the next generation for their future. 

During Olympic Esports Week in Singapore, June 23-25, 2023, Allianz and the IOC joined up to host the MoveNow Camp – Esports Edition.

The live event featured esports titles like Gran Turismo 7, professional esports training, physical and mental activities, and mentorship for teenagers from all over Asia.

The mission of the MoveNow program is to prepare the next generation for the future by moving their bodies, minds, and souls. The camps enable young people to level up their game and learn about Olympic values.

The camp offered professional training around physical fitness, mental resilience, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship, all while experiencing Olympic Esports Week, watching the finals, and meeting prominent esports players.

At the camp, the next generation learned in-game skills from experienced esports athletes, who coached and mentored them to perform their personal best at the final tournament.

Professional esports players and athlete coaches shared lessons from their journeys, what it takes to set and achieve goals, and best practices to prepare for future ambitions.

Gran Turismo 7 is one of the world’s most popular racing simulation games. 

The Gran Turismo series was established in 1997, with the newest edition launched in March 2022. 

The game features many cars, racing tracks, and impressive graphics.

Kassio is a professional Rocket League Player for team Quadrant and is known to be one of the best strikers in the game.

Sv2 is an English Youtuber known for building communities around virtual football simulations and football videos with over 3,000,000 subscribers.

Mikaela is a professional racing driver, who began her career in karting at the age of 12. Since then, she has competed in renowned series such as ADAC GT Masters and currently participates in the Extreme E Championship for Rosberg X Racing.
