In a world that feels more divided than ever, we’re introducing the Unity Awards – celebrating those who bring people together through sports.
The Unity Awards recognize individuals, coaches, teammates, supporters and parents who use sport as an enabler to address social or community challenges, fostering inclusion and connection that makes sport more than just a game.
The welcomer. The unsung hero. The lifelong volunteer.
Tell us about those incredible coaches, teammates, supporters and parents in your community who foster inclusion, connection, and create a lasting impact on and off the field.
Got someone in mind? Simply comment on our post and describe how you, your coach, teammate, supporter or parents are champions of unity.
And to increase the chances, upload a public video of no more than 30 seconds on Instagram or LinkedIn describing how you or the club supports unity.

Winners will receive jerseys, plus a donation to the club.
Donations can be used for anything that strengthens inclusion and connection, from renovating the clubhouse to that long-overdue club social.
We’re looking for people from four categories – coaches, teammates, supporters and parents – who foster inclusion, connection, and create a lasting impact on and off the field.
They may use sports to address community or social challenges, create meaningful connections across points of difference, or see sports as a platform for impact beyond the game itself. Ultimately, we’re looking for those who champion unity as both a value and outcome of their work.
