This is a translation of a media release that was published by Allianz Spain on June 12, 2024.

This morning, the headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee hosted the premiere of the documentary "Ready, Paris, Go," a production sponsored by Allianz, which gathers first-person testimonies and experiences of four athletes on their way to the most important sporting competition in the world.

Athletes Daniela Terol, skateboard; Juan de la Torre, breaking; David Valero, mountain bike; Nagore Folgado, athletics and Alex Roca, marathon runner, talked about their stories of effort and resilience in a round table. Daniela Terol shared how she managed to overcome all obstacles and become a benchmark in her discipline at only 15 years old. Juan de la Torre, known as "Xak", shared his passion for breaking, which led him to achieve goals beyond his wildest dreams. David Valero, passionate about MTB (mountain bike), shared with the audience his experiences to achieve the Olympic medal in Tokyo 2020. Nagore Folgado, Paralympic athlete, showed how her unwavering determination took her far beyond what she could have imagined. Finally, Alex Roca, an athlete with cerebral palsy who will participate in the amateur marathon in Paris 2024, once again embodied the testimony of what strength and overcoming obstacles mean.

The presentation meeting was also attended by Victoria Cabezas, Secretary General of the Spanish Olympic Committee, and Veit Stutz, CEO of Allianz Spain, who highlighted the importance of sportsmanship and the fundamental role played by athletes in society.
