Start Making Cents is a six-episode campaign to simplify complex financial and insurance education issues in an entertaining and engaging way. Based on this campaign, agents are invited to participate in a social media activation by sharing the six episodes of financial advice on their social networks with the aim of achieving a high level of commitment.

All Allianz agents worldwide are invited to activate the Start Making Cents Campaign and carry the message into their local community.

1. Rules and regulations for participants:

1.1 By entering the program, participants will accept these terms and conditions.

1.2. The participation in the program is exclusively possible for Allianz agents.

1.3 The activation period begins on Wednesday February 15, 2023, and ends on Wednesday March 15, 2023, at 23:59 CET.

1.4 The deadline to submit the key results is Friday March 24, 2023, at 23:59 CET.

1.5 The assets provided must be used exclusively for this activation as stated in the official toolkit, sharing them for any other purpose or repurpose is not allowed. Participants acknowledge that acting against those rules might lead into legal consequences.

1.6 Agents must follow the pre-written copy provided by Allianz, only the highlighted text is allowed to be changed and personalized for your customers, however all messages must be developed keeping the core message of the campaign. Especially creating a direct link to Allianz products is not allowed. Participants acknowledge that acting against those rules might lead into legal consequences.

2. Selection of potential winners

2.1 Only the period between Wednesday February 15, 2023, and Wednesday March 15, 2023 at 23:59 CET will be considered to measure the engagement of the posts.  

2.2 Representatives of Allianz SE will select the best five (5) activations of all qualified submissions.

2.3 Main selection criteria for the selection will be:

·       Total number of engagements: Evaluation of content performance looking at measures such as likes, shares, and comments.

·       Engagement rate by channel: Potential customer interactions and leads acquired through different channels like direct conversations, email, phone, local events and other type of communication system

2.4 The key results that agents have present must come exclusively from the posts published from the Start Making Cents campaign, it is not necessary for all six episodes to be published.

2.5 Agents need to submit the key results of their campaign (including screenshots or other appropriate documents to proof total number of engagements) to [email protected]

2.6 The five (5) winners will be informed via email by Friday, March 31, 2023. The winners need to reply and accept the prize within five (5) working days. Otherwise, a substitute will be selected.

2.7 The decision with regard to the submitters is final. Legal remedies are excluded. Should disputes arise in connection with the identity of a participant, a decision is made in favour of the holder of the e-mail address that was used to participate in this program. Should the submitters have transmitted incorrect information which makes further contact to said submitters impossible, the latter forfeits all and any prize won. In such case, a substitute will be selected.

2.8  Only one participation per agent is considered for the competition.

3. Prizes

13.1. The five (5) winners have the right to win a new store front design for their physical agency. The new store front design will be produced customized for the agency of the winner, using a pre-defined set of branding elements. The prize not only includes the branding elements as such but also the professional installation. The value of the prize per winner is capped at EUR 5,000. Any additional costs would need to be covered by the winner him/herself. 

3.2 The prize cannot be assigned to third parties and cannot be paid out in cash.

3.3 The chance of winning the prize depends on the numbers of submissions received

4.2 Allianz SE and any involved subsidiaries of Allianz SE, do not bear any liability whatsoever for lost, misdirected or late submissions, or for (i) electronic transmission errors, (ii) theft, destruction, changes of or unauthorised access to submissions, (iii) technical problems, and malfunctions or errors in the operation of any hardware or software or the scheduled course of the competition, including computer viruses and bugs, or for manipulations, unauthorized access, fraud, internet overload or overload of a website or arbitrary combinations thereof, or for other causes that are beyond the reasonable control of Allianz SE and of the respective subsidiaries and branches of Allianz SE. Should any of the above circumstances occur, Allianz SE reserves the right to take one of, or several of the following measures: Disqualification of any person who manipulates the submission or voting procedure, as well as the cancellation, change, postpone or cancel the competition.

5. Severability Clause

5.1 Should a provision of these Terms and Conditions be considered invalid or unenforceable, the effectiveness or enforceability of the remaining Terms and Conditions are not affected and the invalid or unenforceable provision is replaced by such a valid provision as comes nearest to the basic intention of the invalid or unenforceable provision. The same applies in case of a gap. 

5.2 The Terms and Conditions are subject to German law. The courts of Munich shall have exclusive jurisdictions for any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Terms and Conditions.
