With our global footprint, we have an opportunity to create positive social impact through the way we run our organization and by using our expertise as an insurer, investor, and asset manager. We focus on creating lasting impact for key stakeholders including our employees, our customers, our investors, civil society and NGOs, governments and regulators.  

Our employees

We are a company that revolves around its customers. This means understanding and adapting to customers’ needs by simplifying and digitalizing our products and processes, ensuring what we provide is relevant and delivering excellent customer service. We aim to deliver quality services in a fair, simple, and sustainable way, listening to our customers to continuously improve. Our investors

We make sure that both our short-term and long-term sustainability targets are reasonably balanced with our financial objectives. We are open with the markets by disclosing quantitative and qualitative performance targets and are transparent about our sustainability approach with our investors. Civil society and non-governmental organizations

We are working jointly with civil society and NGOs to shape lasting positive change in the world around us. Allianz brings its commercial expertise and global scale to the table and listens to the interests of civil society and NGOs. By jointly working on solutions, we strive to be a trusted partner to this important stakeholder group. Governments, regulators, and policymakers

We are committed to being a good corproate citizen, reliable taxpayer, and a trusted partner. We strive to be in the ongoing and constructive exchange with policymakers and politicians with the goal to contribute to viable solutions for societal, environmental, and economic issues. As one of the world's leading financial services providers, we particularly share our expertise in the areas of insurance, investments, and finance. We believe in respect for human rights as a minimum standard, both within and beyond our own operations. We proactively tackle human rights issues that could be impacted by our business across all of our roles – as an insurer and investor, an employer, a corporate citizen and across our supply chain.

Our Corporate Citizenship Strategy

Next to our commitment to address social issues for our key stakeholder groups, we also have a dedicated Corporate Citizenship Strategy focused on bettering the livelihoods of children, youth, and people with disabilities. We strive to contribute to SDG8 - decent work and economic growth. We deliver this mission through our insurance and investment businesses and by sharing our expertise and skills, working with community organizations and making donations.
