Allianz SE extends contracts of Board Members Sirma Boshnakova and Günther Thallinger

The Supervisory Board of Allianz SE has extended the mandates of Allianz SE Board of Management Members Sirma Boshnakova, 52, responsible for the Group’s insurance businesses in Western & Southern Europe, Allianz Direct and Allianz Partners, and Günther Thallinger, 52, responsible for Investment Management and Sustainability, through December 2029, subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Oliver Bäte’s mandate as Chairman of the Board of Management of Allianz SE has been renewed through the Annual Shareholders Meeting 2028. / The mandate of Andreas Wimmer has been renewed through September 30, 2029. / Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre has been appointed as Member of the Board of Management and Chief Financial Officer effective January 1, 2024. / Giulio Terzariol to be granted a release from his mandate as of December 31, 2023 so that he may pursue a career opportunity outside of Allianz.

Allianz Trade announces CEO leadership change

Allianz Trade, the world leader in trade credit insurance, announces today that Aylin Somersan Coqui, currently Group Chief Risk Officer of Allianz SE, will become CEO and Chairperson of the Board of Management of Allianz Trade. This change is subject to regulatory approval, and follows the departure of Clarisse Kopff, who has decided to pursue a new leadership role outside of Allianz as of November 30, 2022.

At the Annual General Meeting of Allianz SE today, a new Supervisory Board was elected as scheduled. Rashmy Chatterjee, Chairwoman of the Board of Management of ISTARI Global Ltd, London, was elected to the Supervisory Board for the first time. Sophie Boissard, Christine Bosse, Michael Diekmann, Dr. Friedrich Eichiner and Herbert Hainer were re-elected.
