Paralympics 2016

4350 athletes from 160 countries; 11 days of fierce competition in 23 different sports disciplines - September 7 marks the opening day of the 15th Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Markus Rehm is representing Germany in Rio, competing in the long jump category. Having won gold at the 2012 Paralympics, he currently holds the Paralympic world record for long jump with 8.40m.
