On the next ordinary meeting of the Supervisory Board of Allianz SE:

“Allianz SE confirms that it is considering an acceleration of its succession planning for its Board of Management.

These considerations are longstanding and strategic in nature, but also relate to the Asset Management division which is facing specific challenges at the moment because of the Structured Alpha matter in the U.S.

These considerations are not final and therefore we are not able to say more at this time.

The Supervisory Board will discuss the succession planning for the Board of Management at its next meeting on September 30.”

 

On the company’s internal investigation related to the Structured Alpha funds:

“The company’s internal review of the matters relating to Structured Alpha cover a review of risk and compliance proceedings related to the Structured Alpha funds, which are part of the asset management division.”
