Ford and Allianz are cooperating along the entire mobility value chain. An already established project team, consisting of specialists and engineers from Ford and the Allianz Centre for Technology (AZT), has already achieved initial joint results. Innovative topics like connected driving, driver assistance systems or e-mobility are being jointly analyzed. Advanced and promising technologies and their impact on vehicle damage and causes of damage are being tested and analyzed together. The aim of this technical cooperation is to improve the safety of Ford vehicles for customers and to optimize their insurance coverage.

The innovative character of the cooperation wants to meet the constantly changing customer requirements. Added value will be provided both for customers and the Ford Trade Organization.

The decision for a pan-European cooperation between Allianz and Ford emphasizes that safe mobility is of great relevance for the automotive industry.

“The new cooperation is another crucial and logical step on Allianz’ journey as a strategic partner of the automotive industry. Allianz and Ford have the common goal to significantly increase the European business relationship interaction within the framework of the European cooperation with the Ford dealers over the next five years,” says Karsten Crede, CEO of Allianz Global Automotive. “Together with Allianz, Ford clients in the dealership will receive a modular product offer and competent and consistent advice in all mobility matters.”

The Ford customer can receive a straightforward and quick claims settlement and professional repair services. This will be guaranteed by a combination of an insurance and accident management system.

Bernhard Mattes, chairman of the board of Ford-Werke GmbH and Vice President FCSD at Ford of Europe: “With this cooperation we have the opportunity to meet the demands of our customers to get everything at a single point of sale: A Ford vehicle plus a variety of customized mobility solutions. Together with Allianz we are keeping our promise to always ‘Go Further’. We are working on innovative solutions for future mobility today.”
