Change at the Supervisory Board of Allianz SE

Christine Bosse (51) has been appointed as Member of the Supervisory Board of Allianz SE by the district court of Munich. A Danish citizen, she succeeds Gerhard Cromme (69), who was on the board for nearly 11 years as shareholder representative and has stepped down from his office as planned.

This change was previously announced at the annual general meeting of Allianz in May 2012 and took effect on August 15, 2012.

Christine Bosse draws on considerable experience in the insurance industry. Beginning in 1987, she worked for the Danish Tryg Forsikring in various functions and from 2003 to 2011 held the position of CEO.

„We wish to thank Gerhard Cromme for his many years of valuable work on our Supervisory Board. We are also looking forward to working with Christine Bosse in the future,“ said Helmut Perlet, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Allianz SE.
