Sirma Boshnakova will become Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Partners, effective April 1, 2019. Rémi Grenier, CEO of Allianz Partners since 2015, will embark on new entrepreneurial activities outside of Allianz Group.

As Allianz Partners is starting a new strategic cycle for the next five years, he has decided to hand over the responsibility of steering the group’s growth.

Sirma Boshnakova currently is Head of Business Division for Western and Southern Europe at Allianz SE. She started her career at Boston Consulting Group and then held management and top leadership positions in the pharmaceutical and the insurance industry before joining Allianz in 2015.

Rémi Grenier joined Allianz Group in 2006, and has since held several top management positions. After eight years as CEO and Chairman of Allianz Assistance (formerly Mondial Assistance), he was instrumental in forming the Allianz Partners Group and led its successful transformation journey as CEO over the past five years.

The Supervisory Board of Allianz SE has extended the mandates of Allianz SE Board of Management Members Sirma Boshnakova, 52, responsible for the Group’s insurance businesses in Western & Southern Europe, Allianz Direct and Allianz Partners, and Günther Thallinger, 52, responsible for Investment Management and Sustainability, through December 2029, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
