From 13-17 October 2010, Allianz hosts the second Allianz Junior Football Camp in Munich. This commitment underlines Allianz' engagement with football. Allianz is the official partner of FC Bayern Munich and naming rights partner of one of the world's best-known football stadiums, the Allianz Arena. Also Allianz is sponsoring the upcoming Women's Football World Cup in 2011.
Allianz supports young athletes
After last year's great success _self , Allianz welcomes a new group of youngsters to the Allianz Junior Football Camp in Munich where they will experience the fascinating world of professional football with FC Bayern Munich.
"The camp is a wonderful initiative of Allianz, as it offers the participants an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime-experience. The teens not only get an exclusive insight in our daily work, but also get the chance to make new friends from all over the world", says Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, CEO of FC Bayern Munich.
The 10 girls and 33 boys participating in this year's Allianz Junior Football Camp are from Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, and Russia. After two training sessions with official coaches of FC Bayern's youth teams at the FC Bayern training ground, they get the opportunity to demonstrate their talents in a tournament.

Besides training and playing soccer, an outstanding program is waiting for the young athletes: sightseeing Munich, meeting FC Bayern star players, visiting the Allianz Arena for the Bundesliga live match between FC Bayern Munich and Hannover and an exclusive tour behind the scenes.
Allianz continuously supports events that bring young and established athletes together from all around the world. Also in October, the Allianz Girls' Cup takes place in Munich – by that and together with Plan International Germany, Allianz specifically promotes and supports girls' soccer.
