The publication is based on Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) 2019 assessment results where Allianz Group achieved the top position as sector leader among all rated insurance companies. This is the third time in a row since 2017. In the results of the world’s most relevant sustainability index, Allianz ranks with 87 points well above the sector average scoring of 47 points. Since 2000, the company has been part of the DJSI which assesses environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.

The DJSI is one of the world’s most recognized sustainability ratings. The DJSI is prepared based on the RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
