Allianz acquires assets from Aldi Süd

The assets are located in the economically strong regions of Southern Germany such as Bavaria, Hesse, Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate. It has been mutually agreed to maintain silence about the investment volume.

The portfolio has per asset a sales area of 900 sqm on average. The properties are leased in the long run to Aldi Süd as main tenant.

"The intention of Allianz is to increase its total volume of real estate investments by investing in profitable assets", says Stefan Brendgen, CEO Allianz Real Estate Germany. "This transaction is a further milestone in this direction which we will continue to follow consequently."

Allianz Real Estate was advised by CB Richard Ellis.
