Two Allianz Belgium's products were also singled out. For the 5th time in six years Invest for Life was nominated best life insurance product. And Capital Focus has been nominated as "best life insurance linked to an investment fund".
Invest for Life covers a large array of performing investment products
Invest for Life covers an array of life insurance products with fixed rate (currently 0 percent, 2.5 percent and 3.25 percent) and capital protection. Recently Allianz Belgium has launched a new product in the range called Invest for Life Protect offering specific extra covers. Invest for Life with the minimum guaranteed rate of 2.5 percent has offered the best average return: 5.11 percent over the past seven years.
Two in a row for Capital Focus
For the second time in two years, the investment fund Capital Focus received a life insurance trophy in the category "Best life insurance linked to an investment fund".
This fund is not investing in a specific economic sector but rotates regularly to other promising sectors. Currently the fund is invested for 50 percent in the pharmaceutical sector and 50 percent in the oil industry. The aim is to offer a diversified management of European stocks performing accordingly to its benchmark (MSCI Euro index). The trophy was awarded for the excellent performance of the fund (9.09 percent) over the past five years.
