ASIC Europe open for business

With the establishment of the branches, ASIC is reinforcing collaboration with national Allianz organizations and gradually integrating their IT infrastructure operations. The ASIC branches are integrated directly into the IT departments already in place in the local organizations, enabling the IT service provider to accommodate local circumstances and requirements more effectively. In pursuit of its shared services approach, ASIC will also be investigating opportunities of economies of scale which will benefit the Allianz Group as a whole.

ASIC’s task as an IT Shared Services Center is to bundle Allianz IT infrastructures in Europe and support national organizations in their core business. ASIC Chief Executive Officer Markus T. Müller emphasizes this commitment: "Establishing the European branches is a major milestone for ASIC. It makes us more effective in our remit as a Shared Services Center. And it also raises the efficiency of our operations."
