Extreme E is an all-electric off-road racing championship. The series’ goal is to highlight the impact of climate change in some of the world’s most endangered environments. Extreme E aims to minimize environmental impact while maximizing awareness, racing in places that have already been damaged or affected by climate change and taking fans deep into the heart of the most pressing issues facing our planet’s future.

Extreme E collaborates with local NGOs in their race locations to drive change and to leave a positive legacy behind. Since Allianz is also very engaged in protecting our planet and driving sustainable solutions to reduce the impact of climate change, the support of these so-called Legacy Projects are the focal point of this partnership.
Legacy Project Activation with Allianz Senegal
Their OCEAN X PRIX brought Extreme E all the way to Senegal. Focusing on local environmental challenges, Allianz and Extreme E invited drivers and children from the charity organization “Empire des Enfants” to jointly explore their marine environment, to discuss the necessity of protecting the ocean and to also contribute a part towards a cleaner future by participating in a beach clean-up.
