Life Aims I – People in Germany
Allianz Group published this study in January 2004 on Germans’ life goals and future plans. The study surveyed approximately 3,000 people about their desires, goals and plans for the future. The results found that security and self-determination were among the most important priorities. However, the study found the majority of Germans do not know how to realise their goals.

Central and Eastern European Pensions
In July 2007, Allianz Global Investors, one of the world's largest active asset management companies, published a detailed study on pension systems in 11 Central and Eastern European countries. The report reveals the need for significant structural reforms, fuelled in part by a 19% per annum increase in private pension assets.

In May 2007, Allianz Global Investors published the first major study of investment-focused regulation and accounting rules for defined benefit (DB) pension schemes in OECD countries. The international study examines the impact of DB pension scheme regulations on asset portfolios and corporate funding.

Women's earning power is on the increase, yet most women in the US still don't feel financially secure, with about 50% of women worrying about becoming impoverished, according to a study published by Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America in August 2006.
