The independent auditor KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft audited the annual accounts of Allianz SE and the consolidated financial statements as at December 31, 2007 as well as the management report of Allianz SE and the Group and provided an unqualified audit certificate.
It also audited the half-year report. In accordance with § 341 k of the German Commercial Code (HGB) the Supervisory Board and not the AGM appoints the auditor in German insurance companies.
For fiscal 2008 the Supervisory Board has appointed KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft Aktiengesellschaft Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft as auditor.
