Implementation of the strategies succeeds or fails with the ability of employees to work with a strong focus on customers, to deliver outstanding performances and to drive forward the profitable growth of the Group. With the aim of promoting an integrated approach, the Allianz Group drew up uniform Leadership Values across the world in 2003. They place an entrepreneurial leadership and performance culture focused on customers and employees at the center. Another important task defined in the Leadership Values is to identify trainees for all management and operational areas in-house and develop their potential systematically.
Every year, the Allianz Group carries out a worldwide annual survey to establish how well the leadership values are working in the company. The results are used for analysis and for local and groupwide organizational development. Our orientation towards a performance culture and towards the customer is welcomed and accepted on a broad front. This demonstrates that implementation of the strategy, the measures for enhancing customer orientation, and the target setting tools are having a sustained impact.
